Time for a fresh start

I have been freelancing with social media content and marketing since 2016.

In that time, I have worn many hats and worked with a variety of small - medium businesses. I prefer to work with smaller companies and brands because of my hands-on approach which means giving each and every project my all. I have been a marketer, social media content manager, web designer, brand manager and video editor (among many other strange little tasks here and there). Some may not believe that one person can do so many different tasks but when you freelance, it comes with the role.

Last year in 2022, I gave birth to my first daughter, Penelope. Since then, I have turned down work because I knew I couldn't commit in the way I would normally. Instead, I've begun to pour energy into creating other avenues of income that not only mean I can spend more time with my daughter but continue to help small - medium businesses with their digital journey.

So I decided to branch out and start an Etsy store. Here, I'm going to create and upload documents, spreadsheets, resources and templates that have helped me throughout my career. My target audience is those also working in social media freelancing but most especially, those small business owners who are currently managing their own digital presence and who may not have a budget to hire someone (either a contractor or on a permanent basis).

Over the coming weeks and months, I'll be uploading my products to my Etsy store and sharing my tips and tricks across social media and here on my blog.
